IMPETU® 500 SC
IMPETU® 500 SC is a specific local systemic fungicide for the control of most oomycetes mainly of the Peronosporaceae family and Phytophthora sp., in which it is highly effective in controlling their growth except in the development of zoospores so its use is recommended in mixtures with protective fungicides.

Description
Use: Fungicide
Formulation: Concentrated suspension-SC.
Mechanism of Action: Dimethomorph inhibits phospholipid biosynthesis (proposed) and cell wall synthesis of pathogens by inhibiting cellulose synthase. Only the isomer (Z) is intrinsically active, but because of the rapid interconversion between isomers in light, in practice this does not confer an advantage over the isomer (E). It belongs to group 40, subgroup H5 of the Action Committee against Resistance to Fungicides – FRAC.
