Formulation: Wettable powder - WP.
Mechanism of Action: Tricyclazole is an inhibitor of melanin biosynthesis that is essential for penetration and infection in phytopathogenic fungi that form apressoria to penetrate as has been demonstrated in Pyricularia oryzae. In melanin biosynthesis, tricyclazole inhibits the enzyme reductase from 1,3,8-trihydroxynaphthalene to vermelone, which is a precursor of melanin. It belongs to group 16.1 of the Action Committee against Fungicide Resistance – FRAC.
