Description
Use: Herbicide
Formulation: Water soluble liquid – SL.
Mechanism of Action: 2,4-D increases ethylene production and generates uncontrolled cell division causing leaf curling, leaf wilt and death of broadleaf plants. It belongs to the group HRAC O (WSSA 4). 2,4-D and Picloram in high doses, higher than auxins, stimulate the production of ethylene which in high doses inhibits elongation or growth, causes leaf absition and death.
