Use: Herbicide

Formulation: Emulsifiable concentrate.

Mechanism of Action: Inhibitor of protoporphyrinogen oxidase, also called PPG oxidase or Protox, involved in the biosynthesis of chlorophyll and heme groups, whose action generates lipid and protein peroxidation with loss of chlorophyll and carotenoids and increased membrane instability and cell death. Oxyfluorfen belongs to group E of the Herbicide Resistance Action Committee – HRAC, group 14 of the Weed Science Society of America – WSSA.
