Mechanism of Action: LASH® 40 SP methomyl is a potent cholinesterase inhibitor that blocks the transmission of nerve impulses in insects causing them to collapse. Metomil belongs to group 1A of the Insecticide Resistance Action Committee (IRAC 1A).
