São Paulo (SP) – Albaugh Brazil announces the launch of the new insecticide, Sultan®, designed to protect soybean crops. This new solution is formulated with the active ingredient etiprol and is distinguished by its concentration, which is twice that of other products in the same category. According to the company, Sultan® complements their insecticide portfolio, providing producers with more options in combating soybean stink bugs. Sultan® is also registered for use in cotton, rice, coffee, and sugarcane.
One of the main characteristics of Sultan® is its rapid action through contact and ingestion, effectively eliminating pests with its strong shock power.
According to Albaugh's marketing director, Nelson Azevedo, the company continues to build its position in the insecticide market season after season, with significant investments in expanding its portfolio and developing differentiated formulations.
“We deliver high-quality and efficient products to farmers. Sultan® is another example, with its formulation differentiated by a higher concentration of active ingredient, bringing practicality to the field and reducing the volume of packaging for storage and disposal.” Currently, the executive notes, Albaugh offers more than 20 insecticides in the country.
Azevedo states that the development of more concentrated new formulations has increased market perception of the high quality of the company's product line and significantly boosted farmers' adoption of these solutions. He notes that the brand's insecticides have advanced because "they offer a favorable cost-benefit ratio to farmers, increasing their competitiveness and boosting crop profitability."
