Diagonal is a fungicide with preventive, curative and antisporulant activity from the strobilurin chemical family. The product acts at the mitochondrial level, blocking respiration and therefore the germination and growth of mycelium and spores. Once distributed, it partly remains on the treated vegetation and partly is absorbed, redistributing itself uniformly within the leaves (even with systemic translaminar movement). Therefore it is effective at low doses of use on the main diseases of wheat, barley, rice, cucurbits and tomatoes.
