Trailer is a selective herbicide for post-emergence weeding of soft and durum wheat, barley, rye, oats and triticale. The product is promptly absorbed by the leaves and moved to the vegetative tips of the treated plants; immediately after absorption it quickly causes the growth of sensitive weeds to be blocked by inhibiting the ALS (acetolactate synthetase) enzyme. This causes yellowing, necrosis and subsequent death of the plants. Complete desiccation is observed within 2-4 weeks of treatment.
