It is absorbed mainly by the roots and also penetrates through the leaves translocating inside the plant. The fundamental action occurs on the growth points (apical meristems) from where it acts interrupting the photosynthetic activity and the synthesis of chlorophyll, with the consequent wilting and yellowing and subsequent death of the treated plant.
