Herbicide composed of two active ingredients for the control of annual dicotyledonous weeds in post-emergence. Triazopyrimidine works by inhibiting the enzyme acetolactate synthase, which is essential for the biosynthesis of the amino acids leucine, isoleucine, and valine. It is absorbed by the roots and shoots and translocated through the plant via the xylem and phloem. A few hours after application, growth is halted, and symptoms of chlorosis and necrosis begin to appear. Pyridylcarboxylates are auxins derived from picolinic acid with herbicidal activity, absorbed by the leaves and translocated throughout the plant.
