Penetrating fungicide, with translaminar mobility that has preventive and curative activity, as long as it is applied in the initial phase of fungus development. Pyrimethanil belongs to the chemical group of anilinopyrimidines, belonging to Group 9 of the FRAC, which present cross-resistance within the group, but do not present cross-resistance with other groups of fungicides, with different modes of action. Pyrimethanil inhibits the synthesis of amino acids and proteins, acting on the biosynthesis of methionine and the secretion of enzymes responsible for fungal infection.
