Gulfstream®
AV-01934
Systemic herbicide, with residual action, composed of glyphosate and diflufenicon. The combination of the systemic foliar and root mode of action of these two substances means that it has a broad spectrum of action in combating weeds, including annual and perennial grasses and broad-leaved weeds. Glyphosate is absorbed by leaves and stems and is quickly translocated through the symplast. Inhibits the biosynthesis of the amino acid shikimate (by inhibiting the activity of the enzyme (5-enolpyruvyl-shikimate-3-phosphate) synthase, EPSP synthase). Diflufenicon belongs to the chemical group of phenyl ethers and is absorbed mainly by germinating cotyledons but also by developing roots, with limited translocation. When applied post-emergence, it is absorbed by the leaves and translocated to the apical tissues, inhibiting the biosynthesis of carotenoids (inhibits the activity of the enzyme phytoene desaturase, PDS).
Composition: Diflufenicão 30 g/L + Glyphosate 270 g/L
