Systemic herbicide, with residual action, broad spectrum with contact and systemic action in pre-emergence or early post-emergence of weeds. It is absorbed by the seed in the germination phase and through the roots and shoots of the seedlings. It has acropetal translocation through the xylem but not bassipetal (from leaves to roots). It inhibits the biosynthesis of chlorophyll and carotenoids, which prevents the plant from carrying out photosynthesis.
