Systemic herbicide, belonging to the chemical family of benzoates, being a synthetic auxin, belonging to the HRAC 4 group (regarding the mode of action, MoA). It is absorbed via the leaves and roots, with rapid translocation to the meristematic tissues through the symplast and of the apoplast. Inhibits cell development (acts like indole acetic acid, IAA).
