Selective herbicide indicated for the control of grass weeds in post-emergence of durum and soft wheat, formulated based on the active substance clodinafope-propargyl and the safener cloquintocete-mexil. Clodinafope-propargyl is quickly absorbed by plant leaves and is then translocated to the meristematic tissues where it acts. It belongs to the family of Aryloxyphenoxy-propionates (“Fop’s”), inhibits the enzyme acetyl CoA carboxylase (ACCase), altering the biosynthesis of fatty acids essential for the formation of cell membranes.
