Systemic herbicide belonging to the chemical family of triazolopyrimidines (HRAC Group 2). It is absorbed via the leaves and roots and is distributed throughout the plant through the xylem and phloem reaching the apical tissues, inhibiting the biosynthesis of the amino acids valine, leucine and isoleucine (inhibits the activity of the enzyme acetolactate synthase, ALS). Symptoms, depending on the weed, will be visible from a few days to several weeks after application. The final effectiveness will appear from 4 weeks after application.
